Received his PhD in Clinical Biochemistry from the Faculty of Biochemistry at Aligarh University in 2003. He was appointed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of pharmacy of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan at the same year and was awarded the full professorship title in 2015. Professor Al-Qirem is also the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy since 2016. In terms of research interest, Professor Al-Qirim is interested in studying free radicals, which are any species capable of independent existence that contains one or more unpaired electrons, these free radicals were generated by using stress and especially Forced immobilization stress since this model combines emotional stress (escape reaction) and physical stress (muscle work), resulting in both restricted mobility and aggression.
