With many scholars from local, Arab and foreign countries, Dr. Ali Hyassat, the Health minster opened the fifth pharmaceutical international conference.
Dr. Hyassat mentioned in his speech that Jordan under directions of His Majesty King Abdullah II focuses on building the capabilities of people and assist them to excel through development of their capabilities and employment of most advanced technologies. All of that to be put to serve Jordanian citizens. He assured that such conferences form one of the main paths to achieve this.
Dr. Hyassat also pointed out that pharmaceutical knowledge is accumulative and witnessed great advancement in the past years with requirement to use theoretical and practical knowledge to overcome Incurable diseases.
The president, Prof. Turki Obaidat, in his speech pointed out that the government give great attention to develop and improve medical services with emphasis on supporting and encouraging research in the area of Pharmaceutical Industry . Professor Obaidat, drew attention to the great success and high achievements of the faculty of pharmacy locally and regionally, not only on the teaching level but also on the research level and publications in first class Journals with high impact factors.
The Dean of faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Ghassan Abu Shikeh, explained in his speech that the conference will discuss seventy papers in the areas of Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences with many technical and analytical fields.
