Follow Up and Accreditation of Scientific Journals Office
The “Follow Up and Accreditation of Scientific Journals Office” is responsible for the oversight, evaluation, and accreditation of scientific journals.
The office has the following duties :
- Evaluation of Journals: The office assesses the quality and rigor of scientific journals. This evaluation may include criteria such as peer review processes, editorial standards, publication ethics, and adherence to academic standards.
- Accreditation: responsibility of monitoring the accreditation of scientific journals in different data bases such as WoS and Scopus. Accreditation provides recognition and credibility to journals and indicates to authors, readers, and institutions that the journal maintains high standards of academic integrity.
- Follow-up: This involves monitoring the performance of accredited journals over time to ensure they continue to meet accreditation standards.
