In a significant step towards enhancing nursing education and training, Dr. Tarek Fawzi Al-Louzi, General Director of the Consulting Hospital, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, President of Al-Zaytouna University, officially signed a cooperation agreement aimed at training nursing students from the College of Nursing at the hospital. The signing ceremony, attended by key figures including Professor Dr. Khalid Suleiman, Dean of the College, Dr. Hassan Abu Ruz, Deputy Dean, and Dr. Mustafa Al-Abadi, Director of Nursing at the hospital, marks a new chapter in collaboration between the two institutions.

During the event, Dr. Al-Majali emphasized the hospital’s esteemed reputation for delivering high-quality healthcare services in Jordan and beyond. He underscored the university’s dedication to equipping students with essential skills to adapt to evolving healthcare needs, ultimately preparing them for successful careers.

Dr. Al-Louzi expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the hospital’s commitment to leveraging its resources for comprehensive training across various departments. Dr. Al-Abadi further stressed the importance of patient care, noting the hospital’s robust nursing staff of 300. He highlighted the hospital’s JCI accreditation achievements and the implementation of the innovative “Octopus” plan from the U.S., aimed at enhancing patient care and service delivery.

The agreement also emphasizes the importance of communication skills and a patient-centered approach in nursing education, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the challenges of the healthcare job market. Advanced courses and practical experiences will be integral to the training process, fostering a new generation of nurses dedicated to community service and excellence in patient care.
