The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized an Erasmus+, EGreen Project training workshop. Dr. Martin Haure, from Innsbruck University in Sweden delivered the workshop.
The workshop included a training session on specialized software of energy efficiency of buildings for faculty members and students from the mechanical engineering department, alternative energy technology department and architecture department. This workshop was conducted due to the collaboration of the university with Development of Environmental Engineering Courses and the introduction of the Climate Change Concept for Undergraduate Curriculum project, Erasmus+ funded by the European Union.
The project coordinator at Al Zaytoonah University, Dr. Loai Dabbour, pointed out that conducting such workshop comes as part of university efforts to develop study plans and teaching methodologies. This is done through the implementation of the latest technology that are in line with the scientific and technological developments and meet the needs of the labor market requirements aiming at producing qualified human cadres who are capable of competing in labor market, and seeking transition from teaching to learning.
