Workshop at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Highlights Self-Assessment in Nursing
In collaboration with the Scientific Association of Arab Faculties of Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), a special workshop was held at the Faculty of Nursing at Al-Zaytoonah University in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Khalid Suleiman and faculty members.
The workshop lasted for two days (6-7 May 2024), and about 150 participants from multiple countries (USA, Britain, India, China, Georgia, Philippines, Italy, Egypt, Lebanon, Arab Emirates, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, in addition to the host country Jordan) participated in the workshop.
The workshop addressed the study of self-evaluation in the field of nursing, analyses its importance and how to apply it effectively, and was presented by a team of experts led by the expert Dr. Nell Ard, along with a number of specialists from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
This activity came on the sidelines of the preparations for the First International Nursing Conference that was held on (8-9 May) at Al-Zaytoonah University under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Mona Al Hussein.
