The program of Mechanical Engineering/ Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE) offers an undergraduate program leading to Bachelor of Science degree after successfully completing 160 credit hours. The program provides the student with a framework on how to put sustainability into practice in various engineering applications. Sustainable energy can be defined as any energy source that cannot be depleted and can remain viable forever. Hence, it does not need to be renewed or replenished. Examples of sustainable energy sources include renewable energy sources such as wind and solar energy. The study plan of this program consists of various theoretical courses such as Theories and Applications of Sustainability and Green and Smart Building in addition to the laboratories which provide the student with the necessary practical experience.
